Photographer Spotlight:Michael Ade aka from a 2 b

Where are you currently located, where were you born and how old are you:
Living in London for the last 25 years, born in Manchester, reached the age where I now need glasses to read Age 42.

What is your main source of inspiration?
Everyone elses photostreams..the few groups I am a member of.. HCB, Dorothea Lange, William Eggleston, Joel Meyerowitz and Bruce Gilden.

Do you remember your first camera?
Yes Canon 40D which I bought in July 2009.

Do you have a favorite subject?
Street portraiture..

What kind of equipment do you use?
Cameras: Canon 5D mkii, Canon 40D
Lenses: EF 50mm f/1.4, EF85mm f/1.8, EF 135mm f2.0L, rarely used EF 24-105mm f/4.0L

Do you have a photography goal for the 2010?
Yes..to hopefully improve and become a better photographer and to continually experiment.. get my head around b&w photography.. (I only ever see photographs in colour so am not a very good judge of whether to process in b&w or not).. to be able to shoot more scenes rather than portraits as I always find myself zooming in on people and faces rather than the bigger picture.
